This is a gorgeous blouse by British boutique label Xenoulla. I have only ever seen but a few designs from this particular boutique label, and according to some hip chicks of the era, this was a particularly trendy label at the time and seemed to be heavily influenced by such designers as Ossie Clark and Bus Stop. This blouse is an outright beauty in medium weight black viscose crepe, sumptuous high quality fabric. With gathered panels to the shoulders and fabric tie to cinch the waist, this lends subtle yet striking detailing to a simple cut. A rare and wonderfully wearable blouse.
Having typically enjoyed a previous owner and possibly years of storage, vintage clothes will naturally bear some evidence of their age and history
