Ahhh…breathtaking! What a winter wonderland of a snow queen spectacle! Another Rare and undoubtedly enchanting dress by the renowned knitwear designer Mary Farrin. This feathery delight is a rare design piece by Farrin, a late 1960s design, Made in England, not in Malta as were many of her designs. This is an incredibly beautiful display of her fabulous craftsmanship and ability to design clothes that seem to exude sex appeal without being overtly lascivious. Fitted to the body like a downy glove with lightly ballooned sleeves and a perfect peek-a-boo back which is so well stitched and perfectly placed to show just enough skin – lightly secured with a fluffy angora tie. Dotted and lined with interwoven delicate angora motifs – this is a dress that I feel is glittering, feathery and daringly captivating. It is easily slipped into and out of, so no unnecessary zips or hooks. Dazzling Perfection at its best.
