Barbara Hulanicki opened her first BIBA shop in an old chemist's store on Abingdon Road, London in 1964. By 1971 the BIBA boutique label had grown into a huge store stocking a wide range of stunning clothes. This little treasure of a halter-top dates from 1973/4 and it dons the tell tale printed satin label used when there was a move to 'Big Biba'. This is a beautifully unique piece using a monochrome  cotton fabric, in a bold black on ivory diagonal stripe. The neckline is a sassy halter-neck with ruched bust and a deep scoop back, wonderfully finished off with a flippy and flirty peplum detailing. Please take a peek at my detailed pictures & should you require more, I am but a click away - just message me. A truly beautiful item SOLD as Vintage.

(Our beautiful model is a UK size 8-10. Bust: 31.5, Waist: 24", Hips: 34.5").  The top was not pinned for photography purposes.

A Truly Rare Vintage find by Miss Booty Barefoot.
