Terms & Conditions

ORDERING

By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these terms, then you should contact us before placing an order with us at: info@barefoot-vintage.co.uk.

Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation that your order has been recieved but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract between you and www.barefoot-vintage.co.uk for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you. This does not effect your statutory rights.

Please pay directly using the simple checkout system. I will also accept payment by Cheque, Postal Order or by Bank Transfer if this is your preferred method – contact us for details. Payment via paypal will incur a 4% surcharge as per Paypal systems charges - please contact us before using this service.

All transactions are on a first come first served basis.

HOLD OR RESERVE POLICY:

Barefoot Vintage offers a "hold" policy: Please contact us via our ‘Contact Us Page’ with a description of the item that you are interested in and it’s price. Once the email has been received & read & agreed to, the item will display a ‘Not In Stock’ sign and this will remain in place for a maximum of 7 days. If payment has not been received before these 7 days are over, I will remove the ‘Not In Stock’ sign and the item will be considered 'for sale' once again.

PAYMENT BY INSTALLMENTS

I want Vintage Clothing to be available to all, no matter what budget. So therefore, I am more than happy to consider payment from customers by installments on higher value items. Please get in touch with us via our ‘Contact Us Page’and I am sure that we can arrange a payment level and period that suits both of us, and is 'within reason'.

For example, smaller payments can be made weekly and larger payments can be made monthly. For a £200 item, you could pay £50 a week over a four-week period. Or for a £800 item, you could pay £200 a month for four months. I will not charge interest, but I would ask for the first initial payment within 7 days (please read my 'holding' policy above).

POSTAGE COSTS

UK postage price is stated through the checkout process.

All items over £50 will be sent Special Delivery.

Items under £50 will be sent Recorded Signed For.

International  & European postage is calculated in the checkout system and a discounted postage rate will also be applied for additional items purchased.

I am sure that all international buyers are aware of this factor, however, you may incur customs charges within your own country and this is entirely the buyer's responsibility.

INVOICING AND PAYMENT

Most payments are processed via the direct checkout system.

If you are paying by cheque, please contact me via our ‘Contact’ email system and ensure that you also send details of the item that you are purchasing; so that I am aware of which item you are paying for. For cheque payments, at this point, the item will display a ‘Not In Stock’ sign and will remain in place for 7 day’s in total. If payment has not been received before the 7-day period, I will remove the ‘Not In Stock’ sign and the item will be considered 'for sale' once again. Please be aware that this is 7 calendar days.

POSTING YOUR ITEM

If payment has been made via our direct checkout system, the item will be dispatched within 3 working days*. Payments by cheque are subject to clearance times and will be dispatched within 7 working days of clearance*. If, for any reason, I am unable to fulfill this dispatch time I will inform you immediately.

*Except bank holidays/unforeseen circumstances either personal or with Royal Mail

CANCELLATIONS:

Orders may not be cancelled once approved; should a buyer wish to cancel an order once approved and processed, s/he should wait to receive the item and exercise the return policy.
