Photographer Barry Lategan. Scanned from Vogue Nov 1975 for Vintage Editorials: Mood Over Matter  by Miss Booty Barefoot.

Time to turn the thermostat up, block up all those draughty doors, and stoke a fire – if you have one. These hot little numbers may not keep you warm over the next few chilly day’s, but they’ll certainly get somebody hot under the collar…..Or so I was told by my hubby, whilst he was flicking through this particular  vintage mag.

My absolute favourite image, captured beautifully by Barry Lategan, would have to be the third image set in, Milky satin bloomers combination. I love the fact that her face is partially obscured by the fringed ceiling pendant – it just makes you want to see her lovely face even more. The fact that she is sat legs astride – to me,  oozes feminine confidence, but also gives her a somewhat innocent quality.

My favourite boudoir outfit – if anyone knows me and knows my tastes, of course – would have to be the little black number. Although all of the lingerie pictured here is stunning – I cannot help the fact that I always opt for my favourite colour – especially if it has a contrast colour print – and scattered flowers are my ultimate favourite!
