Somewhat Art Deco in appearance, this is a gorgeous dress by British Boutique label Xenia. As well as a similar boutique label Xenoulla, I have only ever seen but a few designs from this particular boutique label, and according to some hip chicks of the era, this was a particularly trendy label at the time, which seemed to be heavily influenced by such designers as Ossie Clark and Bus Stop. This striking suit set is an outright stunner in light weight boucle knit fabric, which has a striped and chevron design pattern running throughout. With contrast yolk, cap sleeves and fabric tie to cinch the waist, this lends subtle yet striking detailing to a simple cut. A gloriously fluid A-line skirt completes an already super 70s outfit. A rare and wonderfully wearable suit.... .
