A contemporary to the likes of Ossie Clark, you could say that I am an avid admirer of Jeff Banks work and his designs of the late 1960s and 70s. This has to be one of my favourite most coveted Jeff Banks frocks! The fine crepe fabric, fluid, with a wonderful drape and dashing Art Deco print. A lightly scooped and squared neckline, fixed pleat through the yoke and loose pleat to bodice and skirting, then cinched at the waist with buckled fabric belt, completed with elegantly impressive sleeves. This dress is simply divine, with a sublime print, intricate detailing and a captivating 40's tea dress style cut. Simply perfect!
